My Account is your personal card for the network — the name people see, how you sign in, and the units the map uses for you.
First and last name are required. Preferred name, call sign, phone, home agency, and home unit are optional. Display name stays First Last for greetings and audit trails. Radio-log initials prefer your preferred name when you set one. Units (metric or imperial) follow you into mast heights, radii, corridor width, and similar readouts. Travel defaults (Air, AOV, POV, Rental, NERV, plus a jet port when Air) prefill roster later. My Quals lists ICS positions as Qualified or Trainee. You can store two emergency contacts. Incident owners and editors may see that team profile on Access; viewers do not.
Change email with your current password and confirm the new address; the old email stays the login until you do. Pending changes can be resent or cancelled. Change password the same way. Forgot password on the sign-in page emails a short code — no link — so you can set a new password when mail filters strip URLs. You can also sign in with an emailed code instead of a password. If you were given a temporary password, you will be asked to choose a new one before the rest of the app opens. If that does not make sense, contact your system admin.
Two-factor authentication is optional, from My Account or as a checkbox when you create the account. Use an authenticator app; after sign-in you enter a code or a one-time backup code. Turn it off with your password or a valid code. When the site offers Google or Apple, those buttons appear on sign-in and create-account. Link or unlink them under Linked sign-in. You cannot unlink the last way you have to get in.
Admin → Presets (when your group allows it) holds your personal RF templates for Add Site, and the incident’s shared receiver profiles for coverage and point checks. Viewer groups leave Presets off by default.
